Bags, and bags @ New England Quilt Museum
I am loving this new display! All of the samples of my bag patterns are displayed on a column by the window at New England Quilt Museum in Lowell, MA. Now the customers can see all the samples and patterns at once, and be able to choose the one they would like to make. Thank you to Quita, the shop manager who came up to this creative idea of giving a height to the shop display.
They’re called handbags, totebags, shoulderbags, slings. purses, or just bags. Whatever you want to call them, I call them fun to make, and so will you!
I have a wide selection of bag patterns to create whatever type of bag you would like! My original sashiko design patterns will be sure to please and my selection of contemporary pattern styles are also very popular.
Adding Sashiko to bags; even a tiny coin or small accessory purse, is one of the traditional ways to use sashiko stitching. At Studio Aika, you will find patterns for sashiko handbags that are traditional or contemporary, small or large, simple or intricate. Each pattern contains actual size sashiko designs to trace and stitch.
Create your very own designer handbags! I am having so much fun designing these handbag patterns by playing with fabrics, shapes and adding ready-made handles. And they are waiting for you to create your own.
All bags are unique but practical. Try using imported handbag handles for adding more taste to your bag. Or use a pre-cut Japanese fabric pack for your convenience.
